The governor of the Leningrad region, Alexander Drozdenko, said that more than 50 drones were allegedly destroyed over the region. According to him, the attack resulted in a fire in the port of Primorsk.
"A fuel tank was damaged in the port of Primorsk, and a fire broke out. Extinguishing continues, the staff has been evacuated," the report said.
It should be noted that the port of Primorsk in the Leningrad region is Russia's largest oil-loading port on the Baltic Sea, the terminus of the Baltic Pipeline System.
Russian Telegram channel Astra reported that a Russian air defense missile exploded a kilometer away from the military plant VISCOM in Gatchina, Leningrad Region.
