Iran Has Attacked A Huge Refinery In Kuwait For The Second Time

A fire started on his property.

Iran carried out a second air strike on the Mina Al-Ahmadi oil refinery in Kuwait on the night of March 20, causing a fire to start on its premises.

According to Al Jazeera.

According to Al Jazeera, the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery was struck by Iranian UAVs in the early hours of Friday. As a result, a fire broke out at the facility. According to preliminary information, no one was killed or injured. Local emergency services are now trying to put out the fires. Some facilities of the refinery have been shut down for safety reasons.

This is the second strike by the Iranian army on the Mina Al-Ahmadi oil refinery in the past two days. Before that, the Iranians attacked it on March 19. At that time, a fire also broke out at the refinery.

Also on March 19, Iranian UAVs attacked another Kuwaiti refinery, Mina Abdallah. The fires at these refineries were put out during March 19.

Reminder, Iran began attacking Gulf oil and gas facilities after Israel struck Iran's South Pars natural gas field on March 18. Prior to that, the US, Israel and Iran had not struck oil and gas facilities of each other and allies.

Tehran, after the IDF attacked the South Pars field, said it would strike oil and gas facilities of the Persian Gulf countries and published a list to that effect.

The world's largest LNG complex in the city of Ras Laffan in Qatar has already come under attack by the Iranian army.

U.S. President Donald Trump says Washington was unaware of Israel's plans to attack Iran's South Pars gas field. According to him, it came as a surprise to the US.
