The U.S. Has Already Sunk 10 Iranian Ships

US President Donald Trump has detailed the United States' goals for Iran. These include destroying the country's missile capabilities and navy, as well as preventing Tehran from ever obtaining nuclear weapons.

That's what Trump announced during a Medal of Honor ceremony at the White House.

"First of all, we are destroying Iran's missile capabilities, and you see that happening every hour. And also their ability to produce brand new and quite good missiles. Second, we are destroying their navy. We've already hit 10 ships. They're at the bottom of the sea," the American president said.

He noted that the U.S. guarantees that "the world's chief sponsor of terrorism can never get nuclear weapons."

"I've said that from the beginning. They will never have nuclear weapons. They were on their way to obtain it legally through an agreement that our country signed senselessly," Trump said.

He said the United States would also guarantee that the Iranian regime could not continue to arm, finance and operate terrorist armies outside its borders.

"We thought we had an agreement. But then they backed off and then they came back and we thought we had an agreement and they backed off again. I said you can't deal with these people. You have to do the right thing," the White House chief added.
