Nauseda: Crisis In The Middle East Should Not Divert Attention From Ukraine

Europe must continue to support Kiev.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda said that the military escalation in the Middle East should not distract the international community's attention from Russia's war against Ukraine.

He wrote this on the X network.

After a telephone conversation with Estonian President Alar Karis Nauseda said that Europe should continue to support Ukraine with political, economic and military measures.

Among other things, the presidents discussed the situation in the Middle East, the safety of Lithuanian and Estonian citizens in the region and their return home.

Nauseda and Karis agreed to maintain close coordination between Lithuanian and Estonian institutions in order to promptly provide consular assistance to their citizens who are stranded in the Middle East.
