Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur, who was in Dubai on the first day of the U.S. operation against Iran, managed to reach Oman.

The Estonian Defense Minister arrived in the United Arab Emirates on Friday - on the eve of the start of the U.S. and Israeli operation against Iran.

On Monday, Pevkur managed to reach Oman by land.

"Me and a group of Estonians decided to move to Oman, hoping to find flights from there to return home. Right now there are no flights, we are taking turns traveling. We don't know how and when we will [reach] our homeland," the minister said.

Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said the airport in Oman was open on Sunday, but air traffic there is severely disrupted, so the EU has decided not to organize charter flights to the country.
