Fighting between the countries has been going on since late January.
The Afghan Air Force has carried out new strikes on military bases inside Pakistan, RTA reported, citing the Afghan Defense Ministry.
The targets included the Nurhan base in Rawalpindi and the headquarters of the 12th Army Corps in Quetta in Balochistan province.
The statement emphasized that the strikes were carried out in response to violations of Afghan airspace over Kabul and Bagram. The agency emphasized that the more "Pakistani criminal group will interfere with peaceful life, the tougher the response will be."
The fighting between Afghanistan and Pakistan resumed in late January. Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif postponed a planned visit to Russia because of the escalating situation.
