After that, he said, "the world will be a safer place."
The influence of Iran's policy will decrease and soon it will all be over, and when the US finishes its "excursion" in the Middle East, the world will be safer. This was stated by US President Donald Trump during a joint press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi at the White House.
"I saw what's going on in Iran and I said, I wouldn't want to do this excursion, but we're going to have to do it <....> when it's over we'll have a safer world," Donald Trump said.
Trump also commented on the publication of the Pentagon's request to ask the U.S. Congress for $200 billion to fund a war with Iran. "We're doing very well, but we want to be in the best position possible," Donald Trump said.
The Washington Post wrote that the $200 billion could be used to urgently increase production of critical weapons used up in US and Israeli strikes during the three weeks of conflict.
