Lithuanian Foreign Minister: Return To Normal Relations With Russia Impossible

The issue of Europe's security is being resolved in Ukraine.

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kiastutis Budrys believes that a return to normal relations with Russia is currently impossible, LRT reports.

"A return to normal cooperation with Russia is impossible. Sanctions must be maintained and strengthened, accountability for war crimes must be achieved, and Russia's diplomatic isolation must be maintained," the minister emphasized.

Budris noted that the issue of Europe's security is being resolved in Ukraine.

He also called for sustained and long-term support for Ukraine, in particular efforts to strengthen its negotiating position, unblock a planned 90 billion euro EU loan, and increase pressure on Russia through the 20th package of sanctions.
