At the same time, the White House chief said the U.S. is "not ready to leave yet."
U.S. President Donald Trump said the United States is not yet ready to leave the operation in Iran, but will do so in the near future.
This is reported by The Guardian.
When asked if he has a plan of action on Iran "for the next day," Trump said that if the U.S. ends the military operation now, "it will take Iran 10 years to recover."
"But we are not ready to leave yet. But we will be leaving in the near future, we will be leaving virtually in the near future," he added.
In addition, Trump emphasized that the U.S. has received "a lot of support" from Middle Eastern countries but "virtually no support" from NATO.
