White House Released Video Of Video Game-style Strikes On Iran

The US is waging a "meme war" against Tehran.

The White House on the social network X published a new video with footage of strikes on targets in Iran. It is stylized to look like the interface of the Nintendo Wii video game console. The video's splash page is in the form of the video game Wii Sports.

The Washington Post and Reuters have previously noted that the White House is waging a "meme war" against Iran by regularly publishing similar videos. Some mimic popular video games such as those in the GTA series, while others use pop culture characters and memes such as SpongeBob.
