During the 61st session of the UN Human Rights Council, former political prisoner Polina Sharenda-Panasiuk approached the representative of the official delegation of Belarus Larisa Belskaya, who spoke about how "women are loved and respected in Belarus."

Polina Sharenda-Panasiuk brought pictures of Olga Mayorova, who risks losing her eyesight completely behind bars, and Yelena Lazarchik. Belskaya angrily snatched the photos from Polina Sharenda-Panasiuk's hands.
