A U.S. Senate delegation will travel to China immediately after the historic meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Si Jinping. It will be led by Senator Senator Steve Daines, a key ally of the president and a man who knows the Chinese economy from the inside.
It is known that the visit of American lawmakers, scheduled for May 2026. And it will be the first real step toward implementing the agreements between the leaders of the two nations.
Senator Daines has already said that this trip has been in preparation for months. Its purpose is not just a diplomatic visit, but to explore China's innovation ecosystem and develop infrastructure ties.
