(Updated) New countries may be drawn into the conflict.
The U.S.-Israeli operation against Iran continues in the Middle East.
The Charter97.org website is following developments throughout the thirteenth day of the war.
22:37 The IDF is launching new strikes against infrastructure in Iran, the Israeli army said in its Telegram feed.
"The Israel Defense Forces have just launched a large-scale series of strikes against the Iranian regime's infrastructure throughout Tehran," the report said.
22:26 It may be up to the United States along with an international coalition to secure ships in the Strait of Hormuz, U.S. Treasury Department chief Scott Bessent told Sky News.
21:11 The White House on social network X has released a new video showing footage of strikes on targets in Iran. It is styled after the interface of the Nintendo Wii video game console. The video's splash screen is designed to look like the Wii Sports video game.
The Washington Post and Reuters have previously noted that the White House is waging a "meme war" against Iran by regularly posting similar videos. Some mimic popular video games, such as those from the GTA series, while others use pop culture characters and memes, such as SpongeBob.

The military said more than 90 Iranian vessels - some 60 warships and 30 mine-laying vessels - were among the targets hit.
19:28 The International Maritime Organization (IMO) will hold an "emergency session" next week to discuss threats to shipping in the Middle East, mainly in the Strait of Hormuz, AFP reported.
The meeting, scheduled for March 18-19 at IMO headquarters in London, has been called by six of the organization's 40 members: the UK, Egypt, France, Morocco, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
The Strait of Hormuz, through which a fifth of the world's crude oil supplies pass, is effectively blocked due to Iranian attacks on ships and Gulf states.
Iran's new supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei said Thursday that the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz will continue.
19:01 The widow of Iran's deceased supreme leader Ali Khamenei survived, information about her death was erroneous. This was reported by Fars news agency without specifying the source of the information.
"It is hereby reported that the wife of the deceased revolutionary leader is alive and that the initial information about his death was incorrect," the report said.
18.05 Donald Trump said that Iran is an "evil empire" and he will not allow it to destroy the whole world. The American leader wrote this on the social media network Truth Social.
"But of far greater interest and importance to me as president is preventing the evil empire, Iran, from having nuclear weapons and preventing the destruction of the Middle East and indeed the entire world. I will never let that happen!" - Trump wrote.
18.55 Israel launched a new series of strikes on Hezbollah targets in Beirut. The military warned residents of the city center that it would strike one of the buildings.

15:51 The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it had struck an Iranian nuclear facility. At it, the Iranian regime was working on "critical nuclear weapons development capabilities." The site near Tehran, identified as the Talegan complex, came under attack. The IDF launched a series of strikes against it over the past few days.
15.35 The IDF eliminated a commander from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps operating in a missile unit of the Hizbullah terrorist organization in Lebanon. Abu D'r Mahmadi was a key figure in the military coordination between the terrorist organization and the Iranian terrorist regime, acting as a liaison and mediator.
15.25 The Israel Defense Forces have struck an Iranian nuclear weapons development center. The Talegan facility was used by the regime to improve critical capabilities for nuclear weapons development, the IDF said in a post on its Telegram channel.
13:35 The U.S. has hit Iran's nuclear facilities with anti-bunker bombs. The US Army used a B-2 Spirit bomber and GBU-57/B bombs.
Satellite images have shown that one of the sites linked to Iran's nuclear program has been hit in the new strike. The facility in question is the Talegan-2 complex at the Parchin military base. Three large and precise hit points can be seen on the roof of the structure, which may indicate the use of GBU-57/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator heavy-duty anti-bunker bombs.

11:54 IDF fighter pilots identified soldiers at the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps headquarters in central Tehran and destroyed them with an airstrike.
Dozens of IAF fighter jets, guided by military intelligence, carried out another round of attacks on regime targets in Tehran. Among the targets destroyed are:
Headquarters and command centers used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Air Force;
Corpus of the IRGC's Imam Hussein Central Military University;
Storage and production sites for ballistic missiles and anti-aircraft missiles ready for launch.
At the same time, headquarters, bases of the Internal Security Forces and the Basij formation were attacked. Strikes also hit the Iranian terrorist regime's intelligence headquarters, which the IDF calls "the ministry."

Two oil tankers were attacked in the Persian Gulf near the Iraqi port of Basra. They were severely damaged and caught fire. Iraq's ports suspended operations after the incident.
A spokesman for Iraq's Joint Operations Command called the attack a violation of sovereignty and said it was right to retaliate. In addition, Iranian drones attacked a major oil field in Iraq, Majnoon. It is near the border with Iran.
08:57 US President Donald Trump said the war against Iran has effectively already been won, and now it is only a question of when exactly the fighting will end.
"I think we're in very good shape - the main thing is we have to win this thing, win it quickly, but win it," Trump said. He said many commentators already consider the conflict to be over and the only question now is when the US will stop the operation. The American president also said he did not want to allow the threat from Iran to resume. He suggested that the country must have a new leadership capable of rebuilding the state.
