US Imposes New Sanctions Against Russia

Who fell under the restrictions.

The US Treasury Department has expanded the list of sanctions against Russia, including four individuals and three organizations. This is reported in the publication of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

The list includes Russian citizens Sergey Zelenyuk, Oleg Kucherov and Marina Vasanovich, as well as a citizen of Uzbekistan Azizjon Mamashoev. The US Treasury Department also imposed restrictions against the UAE-registered companies Advance Security Solutions and Special Technology Services LLC FZ, as well as the Russian company MATRIX LLC.

The agency imposed restrictions on the basis of the CAATSA law, the law on sanctions in connection with the infringement of intellectual property rights, as well as measures related to cyber activities.

Today, the list of sanctions against Russia for 297 positions was also expanded by the UK Treasury Department. Among others, nine Russian banks, three structures of "Rosatom", "Transneft" and several LNG production enterprises fell under the new restrictions.
