Package With Patriot Air Defense Missiles Arrives In Ukraine

A large package of missiles for air defense systems arrived in Ukraine two days ago, President Vladimir Zelensky said at a meeting of the "Coalition of the Determined" in Kiev.

In particular, the package includes RAS-2 and RAS-3 missiles for the Patriot system, he said. The Ukrainian leader explained that this is only part of the package recently funded by partners, and another delivery is expected soon.

The last time Zelensky reported receiving a new package of air defense missiles was on January 16. Already on the 24th, he announced an agreement with the US on the delivery of PAC-3 missiles for Patriot. Earlier, he said that Kiev lacked missiles for the US Patriot air defense systems, as well as for European systems. He said that he had to personally "knock out" each batch of missiles from European and US countries.
