According to "Radio Liberty".

It is noted that the fire was recorded on satellite images taken in the morning of February 24. It is worth noting that this is one of the key nodes of Russian oil transportation.

The SBU's long-range drones attacked the main oil pumping station near Almetyevsk in Tatarstan.

The facility receives oil from Western Siberia and the Volga region, blends it and prepares it for export. In addition, the station is an important hub for the Druzhba oil pipeline, through which the raw materials are transported, including to Europe.

At least six explosions were heard during the strike, after which a large-scale fire broke out on the site. Oil tanks were reported to have caught fire.

The distance from the Ukrainian border to the Kaleikino oil refinery is more than 1,200 kilometers.
