It took 10 hours.

On the night of February 22, 2026, three explosions occurred in Lviv, killing a police officer and injuring 25 people of varying degrees of severity.

The SBU and police within 10 hours identified and detained a woman involved in committing a triple terrorist attack in Lviv on the night of February 22, 2026.

The said deputy head of the SBU Ivan Rudnitsky. According to the version of the pre-trial investigation, Russian special services recruited online 33-year-old resident of Rivne region. She was looking for "easy money" in telegram channels.

Figurant according to the instructions from improvised means made three improvised explosive devices and laid them near a grocery store. Then at night, police received a report that two men had allegedly broken into the store.

When the first police officers arrived on the scene, the enemy remotely activated an improvised explosive device. After the explosion, two more patrol police crews and a foot patrol of the National Guard arrived on the scene. At that moment, two more explosions were heard. As a result of the explosions, a female police officer was killed and 25 people, including civilians, were injured of varying degrees of severity.

SBU investigators believe that the attacker bought components for improvised explosive devices in hardware stores. She equipped the explosive devices with cell phones for remote detonation.

The defendant planned to leave Ukraine after detonating the explosive devices, but law enforcers identified and detained her within 10 hours.

The pre-trial investigation is establishing all the circumstances of this crime, as well as the persons guilty of it.
