Ukrainian partisans learned how the "scheme" works.
Russian commanders in temporarily occupied Crimea are massively forging documents of conscript soldiers, transferring them to a contract without their consent.
The Telegram channel of the guerrilla movement "ATESH" reports this.
A movement agent from one of the units of the 810th Independent Guards Marine Brigade stationed in Crimea reported a systematic practice of illegal transfer of conscripts to contract service.
What is happening in his unit is a well-established scheme that operates throughout the brigade and other units on the peninsula.
Commanders first try to persuade - they promise money, benefits, easy service. When it doesn't work, they start threatening: we'll send them to the Penal Corps, to the infantry in the front line, we'll make the service unbearable. And if even that doesn't work, they simply forge signatures.
"I myself saw a petty officer signing autographs for three guys at once. The same handwriting on all the documents. The guys found out about it only when they were given orders to be sent to the combat zone," the agent said.
He emphasizes that this is not an exception, but a norm. In his unit, more than 15 people have been "formalized" in this way over the past two months. The same picture is in other units of the Russian Armed Forces throughout Crimea - the system works according to the same scenario.
It is noted that the Russian Federation is experiencing an acute shortage of manpower, especially in the Marine units, which suffer heavy losses on the front line. The urgently conscripted are the most defenseless category, which is the easiest to hack, cheat or simply forge documents.
