"Could Have Hit Two Shops."

A reserve colonel on the strike on the production of Iskanders in the Russian Federation.

The Votkinsk plant in Udmurtia, which produces engines for Iskander missiles and ballistic systems, has suffered a missile attack. Technically, Ukraine already has the ability to operate at a distance of up to 2,000 kilometers.

The AFU colonel in reserve, flight instructor and military expert Roman Svitan explained "24 Kanal" that photos and video confirm an accurate hit on two workshops.

Could the Flamingo missile have hit the Votkinsk plant accurately?"

The Ukrainian General Staff confirmed that important facilities of Russia's military-industrial complex and logistics were hit. Among them, Ukrainian FP-5 "Flamingo" cruise missiles attacked a missile plant in Udmurtia.

The Votkinsk plant is located in the northeast, and it was extremely difficult to get there.

Theoretically, such a missile may well fly - it is actually an analog of the German FAU-1, which was created more than 80 years ago.

- It is not a problem to create such a missile, so the only question is the quantity. However, it should be understood that "Flamingo" is a subsonic, low-maneuverability missile, so most of it will be shot down by Russian air defense - any fighter can catch up with it, - said Svitan.

Even if out of a wave of 10 - 20 missiles will fly only 1 - 2, thanks to the warhead of more than a ton, they can cause serious damage. Especially effective is a strike on such facilities as the Votkinsk plant, where warheads, rocket fuel and engines are stored - all this can cause a powerful secondary explosion.

The AI-25 TLC engine installed on the "Flamingo" is theoretically capable of operating for up to 10 hours and provide a range of 3 - 4 thousand kilometers.
