In Russia's Udmurtia, Flamingos Hit A Factory Producing Iskanders And Oreshniks

A key enterprise of the Russian military-industrial complex has been struck.

In the Republic of Udmurtia, the joint-stock company Votkinskiy Zavod, which produces rocket engines for Russian Iskander and intercontinental ballistic missiles (in particular, for Oreshnik missiles), was attacked, writes Focus.

Preliminary information suggests that the strike on the plant in Udmurtia was carried out with the help of Ukrainian Flamingo missiles. This was reported by OSINT-analysts on the evening of February 20.

The CyberBoroshno project writes that "Flamingo" could have hit the production workshops of the Votkinsk plant. However, so far there is no official confirmation.

Analysts also write that the Votkinsk plant is a key enterprise of the Russian military-industrial complex (MIC).

"It specializes in the production of ballistic missiles, in particular ICBMs like RS-24 Yars and 9K720 Iskander operational-tactical complexes. In fact, it is one of the basic producers of strategic and operational-level missile weapons in the Russian Federation," the report says.

The scale of the plant's importance to the Russians is so important that moats and a perimeter have been dug around it, OSINT analysts note. The distance from the Ukrainian border to the target is about 1,500 kilometers.

In the meantime, Denis Shtillerman, co-owner of Fire Point, a company that makes Flamingo missiles, mysteriously published a video of missile launches amid the news of the "arrival" at the plant in Udmurtia. He did not specify whether the video captured today's launches at military targets in Russia.

"Video without context. Context later," Stillerman wrote.
