On the evening of February 19 and after midnight, explosions were heard in various corners of Russian-occupied Crimea. The occupation authorities claimed a massive drone attack on the region, writes "Focus".
Explosions against the background of UAV raids were heard particularly in the area of the Kacha and Belbek military airfields in Crimea, as well as in Bakhchisarai and Sevastopol. The attack was reported by monitoring channels.

According to the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind," the drones the Russians tried to shoot down at the airfields "Kacha" and "Belbek." In Sevastopol, a siren sounded for the second time this evening amid the UAV threat, and Russian air defense is active in Bakhchisarai.
Russian publics wrote that in Sevastopol, glass in windows flew out after a loud explosion. Residents with flashlights are walking along rooftops and yards in search of debris from downed drones.
Around 23:20-23:30 residents of different districts of Sevastopol heard powerful explosions. According to preliminary data from open sources, a fighter jet may have taken off from Belbek to intercept an aerial target. Eyewitnesses claim that the plane launched a missile, but it did not hit the target. After that, the fighter jet used heat traps and headed towards Yevpatoria.
Around 23:30, a powerful explosion was also reported over Andreevka near Sevastopol. In addition, residents saw searchlights operating near the village of Solnechny.
The so-called "governor" of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, has already confirmed the attack on the region. The official claims that Russian air defense and Black Sea Fleet forces have already allegedly shot down at least 16 drones.
At least 6 private residences in Sevastopol have been damaged as a result of the alleged falling debris of downed UAVs. It is also known about the death of a 30-year-old man who was injured due to the work of Russian air defense: he was hit by the debris of downed targets.
