Ukraine's defense forces have apparently launched new retaliatory strikes on enemy energy facilities in the Russian city of Belgorod. On Wednesday evening, social media published videos in which Russians expressed shock at a series of attacks on the local thermal power plant. Judging by the large amount of profanity in these videos and fire flashes over the mentioned facility, the attack was successful, writes "Dialogue".
Social networks are actively writing that after the attacks, the city began to lose electricity, heating and water supply. Internet outages are also observed.
"Loud sounds and flashes were heard and seen by Belgorod residents just now.
In the north of the city, heating disappears, and in the center of the city - both heating and water.
In the center there is no Internet from Rostelecom. Residents of Dubovoye, Mayskoye, Shagarovka, Razumnoye and partially Khargora report about the blackout," local publicks report.
They also write about an "electric arc" that was formed after one of the blows. According to preliminary information, the electric substation "Donets", located on the territory of Belgorod CHPP, was hit. In addition, it is reported about the attack on the electric substation "Belgorod", which resulted in a blackout in Belgorod district.
Later, local authorities confirmed the attack and reported heavy damage to power facilities. According to Belgorod governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, "there is a partial loss of electricity and heat."
The AFU General Staff has not yet commented on information about new strikes on enemy targets in the Belgorod region.
