The Russian Federation is unable to prevail in the so-called "SWO". However, for the sake of getting out of this failed war with saving face, the Kremlin is preparing a "last escalation." And it will be very dangerous for Russia.

A well-known Russian Z-patriot Maksim Kalashnikov wrote about it in his blog. He assured that Russia has no more resources left to continue aggression. And the Kremlin faces the task of making the outcome of the war be presented to the population as a victory, "Dialogue" noted.

"The dangerous moment will be the attempt of the last escalation. Why the last one? The Russian Federation simply does not have the resources for the next ones, because the war must be ended in such a way that there is something to show as a victory. And since the capture of Kiev or Odessa is out of the question now, there is only one option left: the rest of the Donetsk region," Kalashnikov wrote.

He was forced to admit that even to capture the entire Donetsk region, the Russian Federation does not have the means and forces. To try to recapture it, it will have to take very dangerous steps: new mobilization of at least 500,000 people and confiscation of bank deposits from the population.

He did not rule out that "the last escalation" could be the Russian Federation's invasion of NATO, namely the Baltic States. However, this would also require mobilization and taking money from the population.

"But this would cause extreme public indignation, a sharp economic decline, and an increase in the migrant problem," Kalashnikov wrote.

He stated that the "last escalation" in case of failure could lead Russia to collapse in the same way as the Soviet Union collapsed.
