Gas Prices In Europe Hit A One-month Low

Gas Prices In Europe Hit A One-month Low

Because of warm weather forecasts.

European gas prices declined in trading on Monday, February 16. March natural gas futures at the TTF hub in the Netherlands fell by 5.99% to €30.56 per MWh, or about $381.7 per 1,000 cubic meters at the forex rate, at the low. The previous time quotes traded below that mark was January 12, 2026.

As Bloomberg writes, quotes are falling amid forecasts of warmer weather, and that could ease pressure on rapidly depleting fuel stocks.

U.S. natural gas futures also fell in price, boosting the availability of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for export to Europe, Trading Economics adds.
