Washington may agree on an air corridor for Israeli planes.
US President Donald Trump has agreed to support Israeli strikes on Iran's ballistic missile production if an agreement between Washington and Tehran is not reached. He said this at a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, knowledgeable sources told CBS News.
They said the US military and intelligence community has already begun discussing options for supporting Israel's operation. In particular, Washington may agree on an air corridor for Israeli planes with Middle Eastern countries, as well as provide them with refueling in the sky. At the same time, which states may grant overflight authorization is still unknown. Prior to this, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates said they would not allow their airspace to be used for strikes against Iran.
The Jerusalem Post's sources reported that the Israeli military presented several plans to destroy missile production facilities in Iran to their American counterparts.
