Russia has complained of a new "massive attack" from Ukraine. In Russia's Krasnodar region, explosions were heard in a number of settlements, including Sochi, and damage to an oil tank in the village of Volna, where the seaport is located, OBOZ.UA reported.

The consequences of the attack have been recognized by local authorities, with Russian state propaganda resources writing about them. Propagandists also claim that there are casualties as a result of the attack.

What is known

On the morning of February 15, Russian media reported a "massive attack" by Ukraine on Krasnodar Krai.

"Krasnodar Krai has been subjected to a massive attack, there is damage in Sochi, the village of Yurovka in Anapa and in the village of Volna in the Temryuksky district.... There are several fires at the attacked sites, they are being extinguished by 126 people and 34 units of equipment. Two people were injured in the raid, they are being given the necessary assistance," RIA Novosti reported.

The regional governor said that "the most difficult situation is in the Volna settlement. A tank with oil products, a warehouse and terminals were damaged there."

The said settlement is home to the Taman seaport, which, among other things, operates terminals for transshipment of oil products, liquefied hydrocarbon gas, as well as ammonia and other products.

According to Ukrainian Telegram channel Exilenova+, the governor of the Krasnodar region was somewhat "modest" when listing the settlements where the Russian Federation-inspired war looked this night.

"For several hours, UAVs exhausted air defense in the Krasnodar region. Explosions were heard in Krasnodar, Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik, Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Sochi, Anapa, Tuapse and Adygea. The result of the attack is still unknown, we will learn more information from the General Staff," the report noted.
