The results of the exercise came as a surprise to Western partners.
In recent days, the media have spread information about how the Ukrainian Armed Forces "defeated" NATO troops at the Hedgehog exercise in Estonia. The Ukrainian military told how exactly they managed to do it.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces units reported this in Facebook.
The Ukrainian military said the results of the exercise were unexpected for Western partners.
The Ukrainian team included bombers operators from the 412th Nemesis Brigade and FPV drone crews from the 427th Rarog Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Force. Also taking part were FPV operators of the International Legion of the Defense Ministry's GUR and representatives of the Delta situational awareness system.
A fighter of the 412th Nemesis Brigade with the call sign Nick said that the Ukrainian military carried out tasks to defeat conventional enemy forces, mine logistical routes and deliver supplies to friendly units.
He said the enemy was detected by aerial reconnaissance crews on the Vector complex.
How the Defense Forces managed to "defeat the enemy"
"The Ukrainian team defeated offensive groups that were not prepared for mass defeat by various UAV complexes," the military officer noted.
Ukrainian fighters also pointed to a number of mistakes on the part of the notional NATO grouping. In particular, the equipment moved in large columns without proper camouflage, the infantry did not try to hide, and before moving they did not check the roads for mines.
The military noted that technology is fundamentally changing the battlefield, and Ukraine is ready to share the experience of drone warfare with Western partners. According to them, NATO countries should rethink the tactics of modern warfare and prepare faster for the Russian threat.

The Wall Street Journal previously reported on these exercises in Estonia. According to the publication, one scenario involved a battle group of several thousand military personnel, specifically a British brigade and an Estonian division, conducting an offensive operation.
At the same time, a Ukrainian team of 10 fighters, which played the role of the enemy, simulated the destruction of 17 armored vehicles and carried out about 30 strikes on other targets in half a day.
In general, the results of the exercise were called "terrible" for NATO forces - according to the media, the military could not even locate the positions of Ukrainian drone operators.
