Several units of missile troops were involved.

The crews of Polonez-M multiple launch rocket systems and Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system have been brought out "for control exercises" on controlling missile strikes, "Pozirk" reported, citing the press service of the Defense Ministry.

It is noted that the exercises are held "on various terrains, including at a considerable distance from the points of permanent deployment."

The chief of the missile troops and artillery of the Armed Forces - the head of the relevant department of the Armed Forces General Staff Ruslan Chekhov said that several units of the missile troops were involved in the exercises. According to him, "there were a lot of movements", the servicemen made "a march for long distances - up to 300 kilometers", while there was "no equipment failure".

Commenting on the already held part of the training, the military commander said that it was saturated with "actions of sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the conditional enemy", held in conditions of "complex radio-electronic situation". As part of this training, he said, "combat operations were practiced under the influence of the enemy's unmanned aircraft, including FPV-drones."

The combat launches were carried out during the day, at night, in difficult weather conditions, Chekhov noted.

The Russian Iskander-M complex, which is in service with Belarus, can be equipped with both conventional and nuclear warheads.
