The paper version of the document is effectively a thing of the past.
Belarus is changing the procedure for issuing permits to allow vehicles to participate in road traffic, reports Beltekhovoprosy.
The main innovation is that diagnostic stations are no longer a mandatory place for obtaining a permit. Now car owners can get a permit electronically through a single portal of electronic services "E-Pasluga".
The paper version of the document is actually a thing of the past. The permit is not requested by traffic police officers when checking: its validity is confirmed through information databases. This makes obtaining a paper copy optional.
At the same time, the information on the points of issuing permits on paper will remain - it is available in the section "Diagnostic stations" on the website of the UE "BELTEKHOSMOTR".
Another change concerns payment. The norm about the necessity to provide a document confirming the payment for the administrative procedure has been excluded from the decree. However, the requirement to pay remains. According to paragraph 16 of the Regulation on the Procedure of State Technical Inspection (Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 630 of April 30, 2008), the permit shall not be issued if the payment has not been received.
To pay for procedures, individuals and business entities are recommended to use the ERIP system.
