Medvedev Provokes Trump

The former Russian president said that "no U.S. subs were found by the Russians."

Russia has not detected the nuclear-powered submarines whose appearance on Russian shores was announced by US President Donald Trump. Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitri Medvedev told TASS propagandists.

On August 1, 2025, the White House chief said the states would deploy two nuclear submarines "in the appropriate regions" in response to Medvedev's "stupid and extremely provocative" statements.

On October 27, commenting on Russia's Burevestnik missile test, Trump said a nuclear-powered U.S. submarine is now near the Russian coast.

Medvedev said Trump is the first U.S. president to exercise his power with social media posts.

"You can ironize that this is ill-conceived or emotional. Yeah, it probably is. A couple of boats wanted to send somewhere, we never found them," said the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council.
