Car Towing Costs In Minsk Are Set To Nearly Double

The new rates will take effect starting tomorrow.

Starting October 25, the cost of having a vehicle towed to an impound lot in Minsk will nearly double. The fee for having a car towed to the impound lot will now be 200 rubles instead of 105. Rates for towing without delivery to the impound lot and for vehicle storage will also increase. The new rates have been published on the National Legal Internet Portal.

The cost of forced towing of a vehicle to a secure impound lot will increase by 95 rubles—from 105 to 200 rubles, which is nearly double. Towing without subsequent delivery to an impound lot will cost 120 rubles instead of the previous 75.

The cost of storing a towed vehicle will also increase significantly. For each day in a secure parking lot, the fee will be 16 rubles instead of nine.

Thus, if a vehicle is towed to an impound lot and remains there for one day, the owner will have to pay 216 rubles instead of the previous 114. This does not include any potential traffic fines.

The new rates will take effect on Sunday, October 25.

As a reminder, the last time the cost of forced towing in Minsk was raised was in June 2025. At that time, the cost of transporting a vehicle to an impound lot with full loading onto a tow truck rose from 80 to 105 rubles, and the daily storage fee was set at 9 rubles.
