Minsk Airport Is Paralyzed

Delays of up to nine hours.

January 9, heavy snowfall, brought by cyclone "Ulli," continues in Belarus. In Minsk, some flights depart and land with delays, according to the schedule on the website of the National Airport, writes "Zerkalo".

That is, the flight from Minsk to Dubai of Belavia, which was scheduled to start at 3.05 on January 9, was delayed for nine hours - departure is expected only at 12.05.

Also with delays of up to half an hour in the morning on January 9, planes to Moscow, St. Petersburg and Istanbul departed.

With regard to arrivals, a flight from Dubai to Minsk is expected to arrive nine hours later, also by Belavia - the plane will arrive at 00.45 on January 10, and not at 15.45 on January 9, as previously planned.

The flight from Moscow will land at 12.15, not 11.35.

The flight from Tbilisi in the morning was only 10 minutes late, from Baku - by 55 minutes, and from Batumi - by an hour.

Reminder, cyclone "Ulli" approached Belarus in the evening on January 8, bringing heavy snow and strong wind. The power infrastructure was hit, some houses were de-energized. There are areas in the country, where the snow cover level is already above 30 centimeters. The bad weather continues on Friday.
