U.S. President Donald Trump said that the United States is already unloading oil from a Russian tanker that was seized by the Americans the other day.

In the course of the conversation, the host touched on Venezuela and recent developments related to it. In response to a question, Trump mentioned a Russian tanker.
"You know, we intercepted a Russian cargo ship that was going there. It had an escort of Russian ships, but they decided not to mess with us. So we took that ship. It's unloading oil," the American leader said.
He also emphasized that the U.S. is taking oil "worth billions and billions of dollars."
"And it's going to be hundreds of billions of dollars. It's going to be trillions of dollars," Trump added.
At the same time, the White House chief refused to answer whether he had spoken with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin after the seizure of the tanker.
In addition, commenting on the topic of Venezuela, the US president announced that today at the White House there will be a meeting with major oil companies that invest at least $100 million in Venezuela's oil industry.
