Putin's Envoy Dmitriev Was Spotted In Paris

He was received at the U.S. Embassy.

French publication Le Monde reported that the Kremlin's representative in talks with Washington on the Russia-Ukraine war, Kirill Dmitriev, was in Paris on Jan. 7.

The publication reported this on Wednesday evening.

Le Monde learned from an informed source that Dmitriev was spotted on Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré.

The Elysee Palace denied that Dmitriev had visited the presidential palace the day after the "coalition of the resolute" leaders met in Paris on Jan. 6, which was also attended by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Whitkoff and the U.S. president's son-in-law Jared Kushner.

In Paris, Dmitriev was reportedly received at the U.S. Embassy, located near the Elysee Palace.
