The President of the United States made a joke while addressing Congress.
U.S. President Donald Trump, while criticizing former Venezuelan ruler Nicolas Maduro for his authoritarian rule, said the latter copied his dance.
He said in a speech to U.S. congressional Republicans.
Trump called Maduro a "tough guy" but joked that he allegedly tried to imitate his dance moves.
"He was trying to replicate my dance a little bit," the US president said.
Maduro himself has often appeared in public dancing - sometimes to music with a Latin rhythm.
Trump's dance, on the other hand, consists of him rhythmically waving both arms raised at head level while swaying his hips.
On Nov. 6, 2024, just after winning the U.S. presidential election, Donald Trump danced to a song by the YMCA disco band Village People in Florida at a podium in front of his supporters - and a video of it quickly went viral on the Web, particularly on Instagram and TikTok.
