Fitzo Adviser Resigns After Publication Of Ties To Epstein
Miroslav Lajcak

Slovakia's prime minister accepted his resignation.

Slovak Prime Minister's National Security Advisor Miroslav Lajcak has resigned following the disclosure of his association with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Prime Minister Robert Fico made the announcement on his Facebook page, reports Aktuality.

Fitso announced that he accepts Lajcak's resignation as the prime minister's national security adviser.

The prime minister also again criticized the media over Lajcak, calling them hypocritical. He said media headlines were "so pathos-driven, as if they were talking about the resignation of the president" rather than "one of the members of the prime minister's advisory council."

"Miro has once again demonstrated that he is an excellent diplomat, and I accept his offer to end cooperation, even though we are all, not just me, losing an incredible source of experience in diplomacy and foreign policy," Fico said in the video.
