The right bank of the Ukrainian capital suffered the most.
After the mass blackout on Saturday, January 31, Kiev is gradually restoring the city's life support systems. As of the evening, there was no heating in 3,419 apartment buildings.
The vast majority of them are located on the right bank of the capital. This was reported in Telegram channel by the mayor Vitali Klitschko.
He noted that the accident led to a stop of water and heat supply. On the left bank, water supplies have already been restored. As of 18:30 Saturday, the water supply system was operating at low pressure in Goloseevsky, Pechersky and Shevchenko districts of the right bank.
"Communal workers and power engineers are working to restore the provision of necessary services to Kiev citizens," - assured the mayor.
