A large armada of ships is heading towards Iran - it is bigger than the one off the coast of Venezuela. This was stated by US President Donald Trump.

"We have a large armada, flotilla - call it whatever you want - that is heading toward Iran right now, and it's bigger than the one that was in Venezuela," the president said (video published on the White House YouTube channel). "I hope we make a deal. If we make a deal, it will be good. If we don't make a deal, we'll see what happens," he said.

Donald Trump said he has set a deadline for Iran to make a nuclear deal. "Only they know that for sure," the American president said. He said the Iranian authorities' decision to halt the executions of protesters shows Tehran's willingness to cooperate with Washington. "I can tell you one thing: they really want to make a deal," Donald Trump reportedly said.

The US president was also asked what he would do if Iran refused to make a deal. However, Donald Trump refused to answer the question. "I don't want to talk about anything that has to do with what I do militarily," he said.
