The Situation For Putin Is Indeed Unpleasant

Russian Z-warriors are utterly confused by Trump's words.
Russian Z-war correspondents are utterly baffled by Trump's words that he asked Putin not to bomb Ukraine's energy sector in the coldest of frosts.
From their point of view, nothing could be dumber than to honor this request, as they are quite sure they have "almost finished" Ukraine. So to stop the bombing before (possibly) the last week of heavy frosts is to devalue and nullify all previous efforts to destroy Ukraine's resilience.
But Putin, Lavrov and Peskov are modestly silent on the matter. And their inexplicable silence is becoming increasingly burdensome to vatniks. They feel that they have been betrayed by the Kremlin: they have taken away and stolen victory when it was almost in their hands - just a couple of days before the coveted triumph.
They are terribly annoyed and hurt by this. They barely conceal their irritation and dissatisfaction, hoping that it's all just a misunderstanding.
The situation for Putin is really unpleasant. Well-known Z-crats are still afraid to be personally bullish on him, but they are hissing more and more vigorously through their TG-channels. And anonymous channels are already directly accusing Putin of betrayal.
I suspect, by the way, that Trump really did ask Putin not to hit the energy sector, and he was forced to agree, since Trump is his only hope for the success of the whole campaign against Ukraine.
But at the same time, Putin most likely very much asked Trump not to say anything publicly on this topic in order to spoil the Russian "great geostrategist" image of a cool and decisive leader.
But Trump is such a man that he cannot help but boast of even temporary and small success. And, of course, he immediately told the media how he masterfully persuaded the intransigent Putin not to get Ukraine's energy sector.
And now Putin is standing there like a spitting image, not knowing what to do. Option A: he should deny everything and resume bombing, so as not to disappoint the vatniks. In this case, though, Trump will be terribly displeased - with unpredictable consequences.
Option B: Putin needs to admit that yes, he promised Trump not to bomb power plants for a week. That will preserve his relationship with the US, but he'll get a reputation in RF as a wimp, a tolerant, and a gutless Trumpian bitch. (By the way, after the unpunished seizure of Russian tankers by the Americans, Putin's reputation among the Vatans was not good enough).
The third option (which Putin is likely to choose) - he will not do anything at all and comment, and for a week he will hide under a snag, disappear from the public sphere.
This is what he almost always does when faced with an unpleasant situation.
