The "Field of Miracles" host was caught in the crosshairs of GUR.
The data of five well-known Russian propagandists have been made public by experts from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry and the Center for Countering Disinformation. Among the disclosed "mouthpieces of the Kremlin" is Leonid Yakubovich, a well-known host of the TV show "Field of Miracles".
As reported by the GSD, they are all public citizens of the Russian Federation - singers, poets and showmen, who are united by purposeful work to support Putin's regime and Russian troops in Ukraine, legalize the occupation of Ukrainian territories and justify aggression.
"Among them is Leonid Arkadyevich Yakubovich, a Soviet and Russian TV presenter, People's Artist of Russia, a member of the United Russia party, who uses TV shows as a platform to show support for the Russian military," Ukrainian intelligence said.
It also refers to Ilya Reznik - Soviet and Russian poet, People's Artist of Russia, author of the text of the so-called new Crimean anthem approved by the occupation authorities. Another propagandist is Andrey Rozhkov - a Russian scriptwriter and TV host, director of the Ural Dumplings creative association, a member of the Putin Team movement and a proxy for Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin in the 2018 presidential election. According to the GUR, Rozhkov actively participates in events in support of Russian occupation troops.
The "Kremlin Rupors" section of the "War&Sanctions" portal, the GUR notes, currently contains information about 166 individuals of Russian propaganda who justify Russia's aggression and war crimes, support violence, promote Russian narratives, conduct targeted information operations and try to influence public opinion in different regions of the world.
The intelligence agency emphasizes that a significant part of these individuals are still able to conduct their activities and vacation in the countries of the sanctions coalition.
"The Ukrainian Defense Ministry's GUR together with the Center for Countering Disinformation call on the countries of the free world to take decisive action against the aggressor's 'propaganda troops' - to impose personal sanctions, block public and financial activities, ban entry and completely stop any cooperation with those who serve the Russian Federation's war by word of mouth," the statement reads.
