Argentina Has Declared 2026 The Country's "Year Of Greatness"

Argentine President Javier Milay has issued a decree declaring 2026 the "Year of Argentine Greatness". This is reported by Charter97.org with reference to the official government gazette.

"Declare 2026 the 'Year of Argentine Greatness'. Establish that during 2026, all official documentation of the national public administration, as well as subordinate bodies, shall bear the inscription 'Year of Argentine Greatness'," the text reads.

According to the text of the explanatory note to the decree, the actions taken by the current administration have created a foundation for the stability and development of the country. It also notes that this is an opportunity to begin the next phase of consolidation and growth aimed at returning Argentina to prosperity.

The Milieu administration also emphasizes in the document the need to "deepen structural transformation."
