Trump: U.S. Armada Heading Toward Islamic Republic

New details of the U.S. ultimatum to Iran have become known.

U.S. President Donald Trump called on Iran to come to the negotiating table and strike a deal on its nuclear program, or else, he said, the next U.S. strike would be "much more severe."

According to Reuters.

"Hopefully, Iran will quickly 'get to the bargaining table' and strike a fair and equitable agreement - WITHOUT nuclear weapons - that will be beneficial to all sides. Time is running out, this is really important! The next blow will be much harder! Don't let it happen again," Trump wrote on social media.

He also reiterated that an "armada" of the United States is heading toward the Islamic Republic.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio earlier said that the Iranian regime led by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is currently "probably weaker than ever."

Rubio said, in particular, that the "main problem" the Iranian regime is facing, "unlike the protests last year because of other problems," is that they do not have the capacity to meet the protesters' basic demands, namely that "Iran's economy is in a state of collapse because of sanctions."
