The Consequences Of Cyclone Leoni In Belarus Were Eliminated For Two Days

The Department of Energy revealed the details.

As of 22.15 on January 28, all settlements of the country are supplied with electricity, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reported.

For two days, power engineers in difficult weather conditions eliminated the consequences of Cyclone Leoni, the ministry said.

"During the entire period of the disaster, power supply was disrupted in more than 480 settlements. The work was carried out continuously, including in hard-to-reach areas," the Ministry of Energy emphasized.

A total of about 280 emergency brigades - more than 900 specialists, about 320 pieces of equipment and 6 diesel generator sets - were involved in the restoration.

"At present, work continues on single requests for 0.4 kV networks. The situation is under special control," the agency assured.
