Lithuania Prepares A Note Of Protest To Lukashenko's Regime

Because of the meteors at Vilnius airport.

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kiastutis Budrys said that a protest note is being prepared for Belarus over the weather probes that disrupted Vilnius airport, and all relevant information about the attack will be passed on to allies, LRT reported.

According to the head of Lithuanian diplomacy, all relevant information about the actions of Lukashenko's regime has been provided to partners across the Atlantic for some time now, and this process does not stop.

"Within the scope of my authority and what we are working on now is the preparation of a protest note to Belarus, taking into account the violation of airspace. We are preparing information for our partners in the European Union and the European Commission, there will be a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council, where we will also present this information," Budrys said.

"We will also provide all the information about the actions carried out against us to the American side. Together we will look not only for a name for all this, but also for very concrete solutions. We have constant contacts with the US. We have a big representation in Washington, and we are in contact not only through Washington. We provide information, observations, and there is a constant exchange of information," assured the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

When asked whether the recent influx of smuggled balloons can be considered the actions of the Belarusian authorities against Lithuania, the Minister said he wanted to get more information and did not rule out that different versions should be taken into account.
