France Prepares New Aid For The AFU

Ukraine may soon receive a batch of French-made missiles for air defense, as well as Mirage 2000-5 fighters.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov said this after a conversation with his French counterpart Catherine Vautrin.

According to Fedorov, Ukraine is counting on ammunition deliveries from France for SAMP/T and Crotale air defense systems, as well as long-range weapons.

The Minister thanked the French side for its readiness to transfer additional French-made missiles in the near future, which should significantly strengthen the defense of the Ukrainian sky.

The parties paid special attention to the aviation component of cooperation. Ukraine expects additional deliveries of Mirage 2000-5 airplanes, which, according to Fedorov, will become an important strengthening of the capabilities of the AFU Air Force.

The minister also noted France's principled position on limiting the activities of the Russian "shadow fleet".

Fedorov noted that the reduction of Russia's resources is a key factor in reducing its ability to finance the war against Ukraine.

Fedorov invited Catherine Vautrin to visit Ukraine and said that he was ready to take cooperation to a new level, in particular, in the sphere of the military and military cooperation.
