"It's An Absolutely Creepy Option For Putin."
Ivan Yakovina

The expert named the decisive factor that will determine the winner in the war.

Journalist Ivan Yakovina named a reliable way to stop the Russians' advance on the front: "Putin's plans do not include even a hint of preserving Ukraine in one form or another. This is important to understand. From his point of view, Ukraine should be erased not only from the world map, but also from the memory and consciousness of the people. This is what he wants to achieve with this war, which is why Peskov is not lying when he says that handing over Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, i.e. the key to Ukraine, is essentially a matter of principle for Russia. Without Northern Donbass, if it remains under Ukrainian control, Russia will not be able to advance further, and Russia will lose this war."

The political observer spoke about the importance of the not yet captured Slavyansk and Kramatorsk for Russians on his YouTube channel.

On the upcoming battle for the Ukrainian-controlled part of the Donetsk region, the journalist explained: "After the end of this battle, the Russian Federation will be left without an army at all, because 2/3 of the personnel of combat units will be left lying in graves near these two Ukrainian cities and another 1/3 will be weakened and exhausted, so even if it is a victory, it will be a pyrrhic victory. The Russian army will no longer be able to advance further on Kharkov, on Kiev, on the Dnieper, on Zaporozhye, or rather, it would be able to advance, but it would have to conduct a new war of mobilization in the Russian Federation, and this, in turn, is fraught with the aggravation of the economic crisis, the beginning of social and political unrest, the loosening and, perhaps, even the fall of the Putin regime.

"This is an absolutely terrible option for him, that's why he is terribly afraid of mobilization and wants to avoid this mobilization at all costs, that's why Putin is now putting so much pressure on the Ukrainian side in the negotiations, demanding to give him Slavyansk and Kramatorsk without a fight. The key thing here is that without a fight," Yakovina added.

The apodictic observer noted, "The Kremlin's logic here is quite simple. If the Ukrainian army gives up its main 'fortress' to the Russians without a fight, Putin will have enough army, equipment, ammunition, and a convenient logistical base to continue the war and capture one or more of the Ukrainian cities with millions of inhabitants that I listed above. During the respite, Russian troops will rest, wait for, let's say, summer, and go on a new offensive. You and I understand that Putin will not stick to the ceasefire agreements."
