Beltelecom CEO Alexei Ivashkin has been removed from his post, he has not worked at the company since January 23, Zerkalo has learned.

"Beltelecom's CEO has been removed. He's very young and actively embarked on changes. I think that's enough," said the source of the publication.

This information was confirmed in the reception room of Beltelecom to the journalist, who called the company as an ordinary citizen, asking whether it's possible to make an appointment with Director General Ivashkin. It turned out to be impossible:

- General Director has not been working since Friday (January 23, 2026. - Ed.), - said the reception.

They did not specify the reason why Alexei Ivashkin left his post. His successor has not been appointed yet.

On the website of the company from the page "management" Ivashkin has disappeared - there's no photo or the name of the general director.

Alexei Ivashkin was appointed director general of the republican unitary telecommunications enterprise Beltelecom in July 2024. Minister of Communications and Informatization Konstantin Shulgan, introducing the new head to the staff, "expressed confidence in the successful work of Alexei Ivashkin in his new position, noting his fundamental education, technical knowledge, experience in international activities and deep understanding of the development of the industry."
