The tale launched a heated discussion.
Brest resident told in Threads how much he spends on life per month - and started a heated discussion. Some users began to describe their budgets in detail, others were surprised by the modest amounts, while others admitted that such figures are unattainable for them at their salaries, writes "Zerkalo".
The author of the post immediately suggested discussing personal expenses and gave his own example. "Belarusians! How much do you spend on yourself per month? My figures (my own apartment, Brest): utilities - 80 rubles, internet and communication - 20 rubles, food - 600 rubles, gym - 60 rubles, entertainment - 300 rubles, cab - 100 rubles, massage - 150 rubles. Total - 1310 rubles (about 440 dollars) per month. Plus non-monthly expenses for pills, household chemicals and things, so the average comes out about 1500 rubles (about $500 a month)."
The publication has gathered hundreds of comments in a day. Some users decided to follow suit and also counted their expenses. Thus, a woman from Minsk said that her constant spending for two people is noticeably higher. According to her, the calculations of constant spending show 2.5 thousand per month. About Br180 in winter - is the utility bills for a two-bedroom apartment in Minsk. Mobile, Internet and TV - Br50, groceries for two people - more than Br2 thousand. About Br300 more is spent on gasoline.
"We rarely have fun and even more rarely buy some clothes," she wrote. And also specified that the total spending is noticeably more: "Counted and did not understand how we spend 4000 monthly, and in the calculations of 2500. Thought about it: well, okay, another 350 rubles if we go to a birthday party, 200-300 rubles for car maintenance (in addition to gasoline, then the suspension, then maintenance, then insurance), well, and all sorts of consumables (now here is a filter for reverse osmosis, before that tablets for dishwashers and gifts for the New Year were). I also spend a lot on plants (I have more than 100 of them).
Another Belarusian approached the topic systematically and calculated the average monthly expenses for last year. According to him, the most money was spent on the car - 583.7 rubles. Scattered spending without category and ordinary groceries were slightly less: 568 and 520 rubles, respectively. A notable part of the budget was eaten up by travel, health and fitness, as well as housing debt and rent (probably utilities). These are 497, 443, 370 and 164 rubles. Education received 309 rubles per month, another 208 rubles - cafes and restaurants, and a little more than 100 rubles - entertainment. About 155 - the purchase of clothing and equipment. In total, it turns out about Br4.2 thousand.
