Zelensky Named Candidate For New Head Of Ukraine's Defense Ministry

The Ukrainian president has offered Denys Shmygal another position.

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov may head the Ministry of Defense.

This is reported by Charter97.org with reference to the evening address of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"I proposed to Mykhailo Fedorov to become the new Minister of Defense of Ukraine. He is deeply engaged in the issue of the drone line, works effectively in the digitalization of public services and processes," - said Zelensky.

He specified that the current Minister of Defense Denis Shmygal remains in the team. The president offered him another direction in government work.
