This will be the first meeting of this format in Kyiv.
On January 5, the Chiefs of General Staff of Ukraine's partner countries will hold a meeting on security guarantees.
The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky announced this in his evening address on January 1 in a statement.
The President reminded that a meeting of national security advisers will be held in Kiev on January 3, which will be the first such meeting in Ukraine on peace. European representatives have confirmed participation in it, and the US team will be online.
"15 countries have confirmed, plus representatives of European structures and NATO. Then on January 5 - there will be a meeting of the military, the Chiefs of General Staff will meet. The main thing is security guarantees for Ukraine," Zelensky said.
He added that "politically almost everything is ready," and now it is important to "work out every detail of how the guarantees will work in the sky, on land, at sea," if the war can be ended.
The leaders of the "coalition of the resolute" will meet in France on January 6, Zelensky added.
"We are preparing now so that the meeting will be productive, and so that there will be more support, and so that there will be more political certainty on guarantees and on the peace agreement," the Ukrainian president stressed.
